The Flickertails try to keep their group in the public eye. By promoting beginner carving classes, refresher courses, and teaming up with other clubs, they try to spread the joy that is woodcarving. From chip carving, bas relief, chainsaw art, hand carving, scrollsaw work and more, there are opportunities for everyone. We do not have a separate group of youth carvers – we just add them to the group as a whole! There are so many knowledgeable carvers in the group, that Scouts looking for badges, or little whittlers wishing to learn the basics are welcome to join us.
