31: Blue Grass Goes Pink – the Flickertail Woodcarvers will be demonstrating carving at Cross Ranch State Park from 1-4pm at the visitor center. This event is held annually to remember family and friends we have lost to cancer. We begin the morning with a 5/10k fun walk/run on the beautiful trails of the Cross Ranch State Park. Supper with the Washburn Churches at 5:30pm and concert with Cottonwood Bluegrass and Friends at 6:30pm. Proceeds go to Bismarck Cancer Center. 7-8: Capital A’Fair – Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-4pm. Carving demonstrations on site – come volunteer! Capital A’Fair is one of the areas largest summer art fair. It features over 130 artisans from across the country and attracts thousands of local and regional visitors. Music, great food, performing arts groups and children’s activities contribute to the festive mood. The fair is located at the beautiful Capitol grounds of North Dakota.
15: Buckstop Junction Corn Festival – Flickertails will have a table set up outside the lumber mill. Come join us carving!
7-10: Master Carver class held at BSC Career Academy, over the Annual Show weekend.
9-10: Annual Flickertail Woodcarving Show, held at BSC Career Academy.
25-26: Buckstop Junction AppleFest – Flickertails will have a table set up outside the blacksmith shop. Members are invited to help demonstrate.
